An Apple Watch Guide: How To Unpair Apple Watch

How To Unpair Apple Watch

To unpair your Apple Watch from your iPhone, you can follow these steps:

  1. Keep your Apple Watch and iPhone close to each other.
  2. On your iPhone, open the Watch app.
  3. Go to the "My Watch" tab located at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select your Apple Watch from the list of available devices.
  5. Tap the "i" icon next to your Apple Watch's name.
  6. Tap "Unpair Apple Watch" at the top of the screen.
  7. If you have a cellular-enabled Apple Watch, choose whether to keep or remove your cellular plan.
  8. Confirm your selection by tapping "Unpair [Apple Watch Name]".
  9. Enter your Apple ID password when prompted to turn off Activation Lock.
  10. Wait for the unpairing process to complete, which includes creating a backup of your Apple Watch, erasing all content and settings, and removing your Apple Watch from your iCloud account.

Once the unpairing process is finished, your Apple Watch will display a message indicating that it is ready to be set up again. You can pair it with your iPhone as a new device or pair it with a different iPhone if desired.
